Maintenance Plans

Proper maintenance ensures your extinguishers perform when needed:

• Six-Year Maintenance:
  Dry chemical portable extinguishers require a full internal inspection, emptying, and refilling every six years.
• Hydrostatic Testing:
  Required to check the integrity of your extinguisher's shell at specific intervals:
  1. Dry Chemical: Every 12 years
  2. Halon/Clean Agents: Every 12 years
  3. Water Pressure: Every 5 years
  4. CO2: Every 5 years
• Recharging Services:
  If your extinguisher is discharged—even partially—it must be refilled or recharged to remain ready for future use.
